Founded in 1956, the Association of Modern Kitchen (AMK) is the professional and service-oriented association for the entire kitchen industry. AMK represents more than 160 companies across the kitchen sector and serves as a neutral platform where members can exchange knowledge, build connections, and explore new opportunities.

The association supports its members through market research, guidance on technology and standards, marketing initiatives, and participation in national and international trade fairs. AMK provides a platform for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and networking, helping companies remain competitive and identify new growth opportunities.

More than 200 experts from member companies are actively involved in at least one AMK Working Group. There are currently five Working Groups, all focused on developing solutions to issues and topics of importance to the kitchen industry as a whole. Each Working Group has its own projects or areas of responsibility and meets twice a year to discuss progress and develop new ideas and initiatives. The five Working Groups are: Technology & Standardization, Marketing & Public Relations, Functional Equipment, Internationalization, and the China Working Group.
